Sustainable Agriculture
The EMBRACE project emphasized the importance of proper nutrition. To empower families
to better feed themselves, the project conducted permaculture trainings. Making use of locally
available resources, permaculture is a sustainable, adaptable, and environmentally-friendly
method of growing food.
Project participants now have their own permaculture kitchen gardens providing fresh,
organic produce through much of the year. The health of the whole family has improved.
