For over 20 years, Victoria Cares has been a lifeline for individuals and families struggling to make ends meet in the Victoria community. Affordable housing is a significant challenge in the area, particularly for students and refugees. Victoria Cares has been instrumental in providing support to those facing this hardship.

By providing basic necessities, Victoria Cares helps alleviate the financial burden on families and individuals struggling to afford housing. Providing essentials to individuals such as food bank donations, gift cards, baskets, clothing, hygiene kits, and kitchen items. This enables them to focus on finding suitable housing without the added stress of covering immediate needs.

Victoria Cares has also been a valuable partner to several local organizations, including Our Place, Anawim House, Susan’s Place, Soap for Hope, and Rainbow Kitchen. By providing financial assistance, volunteer support, and donations of essential goods, Victoria Cares has empowered these organizations to continue their vital work in providing shelter, food, education, and support to individuals and families in need.

Together, we’ve made a difference. Your generous donations have helped them address the pressing needs of food insecurity and the lack of affordable housing in the community. Victoria Cares has worked tirelessly to assist families struggling to make ends meet, assisting in the search for temporary housing for Ukrainian refugees and other vulnerable individuals.

In the future, Victoria Cares aims to continue being a reliable source of support for church and community members. They believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, and they’re dedicated to helping people overcome challenges and rebuild their lives. Join us in supporting Victoria Cares and making a positive impact on the communities in British Columbia!
