Emergency Response
When disaster strikes, every second counts. Your support means that urgent resources are ready, and often prepositioned, to reach areas in need as quickly as possible through ADRA’s global network and partners. Funds, materials, and personnel are coordinated through ADRA’s country offices nearest to the disaster so plans can be put into action immediately and appropriate relief supplies reach the areas hardest hit.
Every disaster is different, but ADRA’s response is always rooted in compassion, speed, and sustainability. With your support, families not only survive the immediate crisis, but also begin the journey to recovery and resilience.
ADRA’s emergency teams provide both essential supplies and critical services, including:
Food, clean water, and safe shelter for displaced families.
Access to clothing, and hygiene kits to restore dignity in times of crisis.
Medical care to treat the injured and prevent outbreaks.
Psychosocial support to help survivors cope with trauma and begin healing.
