Healing Communities: Understanding and Responding to Trauma
Churches are often places where people come seeking hope, support, and belonging — especially during seasons of stress, grief, or instability. As we serve our communities, we have a meaningful opportunity to become spaces of safety, care, and healing.
This three-hour training will provide a foundational understanding of trauma and its impact on individuals and communities. Through guided reflection and discussion, we will explore how greater awareness can shape our ministry environments and strengthen our ability to respond with compassion and care.
This training is especially recommended for:
Community Services leaders
Food bank coordinators
Youth leaders
Ministry volunteers
Pastors
Elders
