Emergency | Jasper Wildfires

Helping Alberta Rise Above The Smoke

A massive wildfire, the largest to affect Jasper National Park in the past 100 years, continues to wreak havoc across the region. This unprecedented disaster has severely impacted the community, leading to widespread evacuations and significant destruction.
In response to this crisis, ADRA Canada has activated its National Emergency Management Plan (NEMP) and is working closely with local organizations, including the Alberta Conference and the Alberta NGO Council, to coordinate relief efforts. Immediate actions include:
  • Financial Assistance: ADRA Canada is mobilizing $20,000 CAD in emergency aid to support affected residents.
  • Hygiene Products: The organization will help procure and distribute essential hygiene supplies to those in need.
The scale of this disaster is profound, and the community’s need for support is urgent. We encourage everyone to keep Jasper in their thoughts and prayers during this challenging time. Additionally, we appeal to those who can contribute to the relief efforts to consider making a donation to assist with ongoing aid and recovery operations.
