ADRA Connections Peru Mission Trip
Project Info:
When: August 14-25, 2026
Location: Cusco Region, Peru (Andes Mountains)
Hosted by: ADRA Canada & ADRA Peru
Trip Organizer: Alberta Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Project Overview:
The Warm Homes Project focuses on improving living conditions for families in isolated high-altitude communities in the Andes Mountains (4,000–5,000m above sea level).
Volunteers will help with the construction and thermal reconditioning of homes:
- Proper ventilation and heating improvements
- Improved stoves
- Bathrooms with showers
These remote communities often have limited infrastructure, no electricity, cold temperatures, and no warm water access
No construction experience is required! Participants simply need a willingness to learn, serve, work as a team, and of course have a great attitude!
Project Sites:
- There are 5 surrounding communities (in each of these, ADRA Peru is working on building about 30 homes in each of these communities).
- All work sites are about a 9–22-minute drive away from Chuquicahuana Camp
- The number of homes our team will work on will depend on the size of the volunteer team
Accomodations:
Teams will stay at ADRA Peru’s Chuquicahuana Camp, located approximately 2 hours from Cusco.
FOOD:
Meals are provided at the camp cafeteria. Vegetarian, meat, and fish meals are provided. Food allergies and dietary needs will be accommodated upon request.
