On a cold night in December 2019, 11 members of the Lincoln Pioneer SDA Church gathered together, donned red and gold capes, and regaled their community with Christmas carols.

“Many people appreciated that we were going around and spreading Christmas cheer in that traditional way. It really brought back the spirit of Christmas,” shared Sonja, a participant.

The church members were not only spreading Christmas cheer. Carole, the ADRA Ambassador of the church, has organized this annual event for the last ten years. While singing Christmas carols, the members solicit support from the community for ADRA’s mission of helping those in need.

Last year, the group raised $700 for ADRA’s Annual Appeal. These funds will enable ADRA to reach the most vulnerable with food, water, and shelter, among other necessities.

Thank you so much, Lincoln Pioneer SDA Church!
