LEAP: Lifesaving Evacuation, Assistance and Protection in Ukraine, Moldova, Romania.
Project Summary
The Lifesaving Evacuation, Assistance, and Protection (LEAP) project, implemented by ADRA, addresses urgent needs arising from the Ukraine crisis by providing critical humanitarian assistance in Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania. The project focuses on evacuation, protection services, cash assistance, and shelter support for internally displaced persons, refugees, and host communities. It prioritizes the most vulnerable groups, including women, children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities. LEAP also integrates mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and gender-sensitive interventions to ensure holistic care and dignity for affected populations. By aligning with international and local humanitarian frameworks, the project seeks to alleviate suffering, promote resilience, and maintain human dignity amidst ongoing conflict.
